San Marino Cartoon Stars 1914-2016: 102 years of cartons on display

San Marino has always been popular as a fantastic European country filled with astonishing medieval locations and breathtaking landscapes. It’s not a coincidence that in 1979 the acclaimed Academy Award Winner director Hayao Miyazaki decided to use part of its fabulous spots as inspiration for the settings of the animated action film Lupin III The Castle of Cagliostro.

2015 has been a fine year for comic’s lovers and fans of this manga adventure: a whole new series had a return with brand new adventures in San Marino. This dreamlike country always had a sweet tooth for comics and fantasy worlds and that’s why we suggest to come and visit San Marino in January to be able to catch San Marino Cartoon Stars 1914-2016: 102 years of cartons on display.

The event will host many and multicolored meetings, interviews, exhibitions and shows up to 21 February 2016.
